Nothing can beat the excitement of a cricket match than a close contest between Australia & India. This series was touted as one of the closest contests between the Man in Blue and Cricket Australia. While India has failed to flourish in Australia for quite some time, this time, it was predicted as the best chance for them to lead here. Till now this has happened too. While the series is still alive, we move into the 4th and final test of this series. Still, India and Australia can take this series.
Australia will start this match with slight advantage though. They are playing at home and Sydney has been a good hunting ground for them. With Mitchel Starc, Lyon and Cummins; their bowling has been impressive in this series. Lyon particularly has been great in this test series. After bowling beautifully in the first test, he was even adjusted man of the match in the second test. The only concern for Australia will be their batting. Though Flinch and Khawaja have been good in the batting line-up, they are yet to match the prowess of Indian line-up. Loss of Steve Smith and David Warner can be seen in this depleted batting.

Here are the squads for the match:
India cricket Team

However, each of the Australian players has contributed, and their fielding has been excellent too. The Indian team, on the other hand, is too much dependent on Kohli. He is in terrific form, but he has little support from Indian openers. Pujara has played well, but he alone can’t take the team home. Lower order too has disappointed. In the bowling department, India has not been as good as Australia. In patches, they have bowled well.
The key player in this 4th match will be Kohli. He can be the difference between India winning or Australia winning. He will be the difference between Australia or India taking this series. After 2004, this is a chance for India to show that they can perform outside the home. After 4-0 and a 2-0 loss in the last two series, here is a chance for India to get an away series in Australia.
Can India beat Australia? We will only know once this new year test starts in the beautiful Sydney Cricket Ground. As of the odds and cricket prediction are concerned, the team Australia has a slight advantage. However, the key player will be Kohli, and the key contest should be between Starc and Kohli, and Lyon and Pujara.
