Both the Royals are set to face each other on 19th May at Sawai ManSingh Stadium, Jaipur and fans will hopefully witness an epic clash. While Rajasthan Royals are silently climbing up on the points table their qualification for the playoffs is still in doubt. Royal Challengers Bangalore has no chance of making it to the playoffs. Yet, this battle would be interesting because some of the famous stars will be seen in action on the field.
Rajasthan Royals have Ajinkya Rahane as their captain. Besides their captain, the batting line-up comprises of Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, D’Arcy Short and Rahul Tripathi. They have been in good form in the season and are capable of giving the opposition a high total or chase big targets. Allrounders like Ben Stokes, Shreyas Gopal, and Stuart Binny make the squad balanced. Bowlers like JC archer, Ish Sodhi, Dhawal Kulkarni and Krishnappa Gowtham form a strong attack that can be good for limiting other teams at a lower score.
Royal Challengers Bangalore has a better batting line-up as compared to the hosts. The big names such as Virat Kohli, AB De Villiers, Corey Anderson, Quinton De Kock and Mandeep Singh can power any day with their fierce batting. They have decent allrounders like Washington Sundar and Moeen Ali who can play both the roles equally well. Bowlers like Umesh Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kulwant Khejroliya and Mohammed Siraj, however, do not create panic among the opposition, and this is a weak link of RCB.
It will be a do or die match for RR. Thus the clash will be interesting. Seeing the points table and the home ground condition, RR has more chances of winning the match and qualify for the playoff.
