The first test match that took place between Sri Lanka and Pakistan was iconic. Sri Lanka won the match spectacularly and both the teams displayed immense hard work and skills on the field.

Sri Lanka is expected to gain more confidence in the upcoming match and Pakistan is planning to strike back with full power. Both the teams are expecting to put forth the same squad as seen in the first test match.

Pakistan played their best, but it looks like Sri Lanka was the better team. For this upcoming test, Pakistan is going to leave no stone unturned. Even if Sri Lanka has more confidence for this test, Pakistan has lost only two out of ten tests played at this ground. Here are a few players to watch and match prediction:
Players to Watch Out For:
Dinesh Chandimal and Niroshan Dickwella performed wonderfully this helped them score the maximum runs in the first test match. They played the Pakistani bowling attack with perfection and class. Their experience and skill was shown in the batting. Sri Lanka needs to show the same level of cricket experience in this test as well.
Pakistani batting line-up showcased a mediocre performance, but all their main batsmen performed well enough to give the team a fighting chance. More is expected out of the top order i.e. Azhar Ali and Shan Masood in this test match. The middle order is strong with Haris Sohail playing wonderfully. These three players need to play match-winning knocks if Pakistan wants to be victorious in this test match.
Rangana Herath and Dilruwan Perera troubled the Pakistani line-up, so the Pakistani players are expected to prepare well enough to tackle the challenge. Mohammad Amir was unable to score any wicket for the entire test, troubling news for Pakistan. It looks like Sri Lankans aren’t taking a chance with his bowling and are playing brilliant cricket. If any player needs to step up, it’s Mohammad Amir.
The first test match was a close one and the second one is also expected to be a tight match. Both the teams are strong and confident in their game plan. Pakistan would come with full force and Sri Lanka looks ready to take them on. The match could go either way, but more inclined towards Pakistan.
