( 2nd Test Match ) South Africa vs India Cricket Match Prediction by Golden Jeeto

The second test match in a three test series of India’s tour to South Africa and it will be held at SuperSport Park in Centurion. The test begins on 13th January, about 4 days after the first test ends. India has lost the first test and this changes the dynamics of the two teams, as the Proteas will walk in confidently wanting to win the match and series, while the Indians will walk in determined to win the test.

The first innings of both the teams had a ton of surprises for us. Dale Steyn’s injury was a huge blow to South Africans, but the team still managed to choke the Indians and ushered in the New Year with a loss for them. The Proteas defended the lowest score set for them since 1998, and they won the first test by 72 runs.

The Men in Blue need to rethink the team for the second test as it favours seamers. They need to plan who will bat, and reduce spinners and use seamers in their bowling attack. On the other hand, the South Africans after having found their pace will be using the same squad.

Both the teams are legendary and there is no easy way to predict which way the 2nd test would go. The Proteas have home advantage and are currently in a stronger position as they have started with a win. They know if they win the second match they have won the series, and the Indian team also knows, that they cannot afford to lose the match and the series in one go. So, be ready for a tough fight on-the-ground.
