The Men in Blue are set to play the Proteas in Johannesburg on 10th February 2018. After a stunning performance in the previous matches, a lot is expected from the Indian team. After the drubbing in the test series, no one expected India to perform so well in the one-day series. However, somehow Virat’s boys have managed to make the series a completely one-sided affair.
Peview of the 4th ODI between South Africa and India

|Time||4:30 PM, 11:00 AM GMT / 01:00 PM LOCAL|
|Venue||New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg|
|Match number||ODI no. 3973|
|Match days||10 February 2018 – day/night match (50-over match)|
It is expected that the 4th ODI will be in favour of India, like the previous matches. Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan are in great form, and they will carry it forward into the Johannesburg ODI.
Also, the Proteas are finding it difficult to play spin. They are getting into knots, especially with AB de Villiers and now Faf du Plessis out of commission. Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal will be expected to play a major role in the bowling department. Hardik Pandya is also showing signs of resurgence and this will be a worrying factor for the Proteas.
There is no doubt that Bhuvneshwar Kumar will trouble the Proteas and make it difficult for them to score. Rohit Sharma too is expected to play a crucial role in batting. So, things are looking great for the Indians.
On the other hand, the depleted South African side will try to save face by making the Indians run for their money. First AB de Villiers was ruled out followed by Faf du Plessis. Now it is Quiton de Kock. However, cricket pundits believe it will be difficult for the Proteas to win, as the Indian side is highly motivated and its key players are not letting the side down.
Prediction of the 4th ODI South Africa vs India
The odds are stacked up in favor of Virat Kohli’s team. It doesn’t matter who wins the toss. It is believed that the Men in Blue will be able to score and rack up a huge score. All eyes will be on Virat Kohli, and he will not let down the team or the fans.
Some predictions claim that if the Proteas win the toss and put Indians to bat, India will post a huge total of 350+ and win the game quite easily. On the other hand, if the Indians win the toss and opt to bowl first, the bowlers will be controlling the outcome of the match, and Indian bowlers will not give an inch for the South Africans.
So, our prediction is that the Indians will win the 4th ODI against South Africans, with Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, and Hardik Pandya batting while Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and the other two spinners will make the ball sing to their tune.
