The Indian side is riding a high, winning a historic ODI series in South Africa. So, their motivation levels are high, but there are chances of some complacency setting in, especially since the series is coming to an end.

Nonetheless, all eyes will be on Virat Kohli, Jaydev Unadkat, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma who will be expected to perform well with the bat. On the other hand, Chahal and Yadav will be the key bowlers for the Indian side, and captain Virat Kohli will be depending on them to take quick wickets and restrict the South Africans from scoring.

This would be the last opportunity for AB de Villiers to get some practice before the Proteas begin playing the Australians. So, hopefully, de Villiers should shine with the bat while bowlers like Tabraiz Shamsi, Aaron Phangiso and Morne Morkel may be able to claim a few quick Indian wickets to make the game interesting and exciting.

If Christiaan Jonker finds a place in the playing XI, it should be interesting to see his explosive batting. After all, he has proved that he is a great T20 batsman at domestic and club level. Also, the South African coach speaks highly of him.

Prediction of 3rd T20I between India and South Africa

This is a tough game to call, as both sides have something to prove before the series comes to an end. While the test matches were dominated by the Proteas, the Men in Blue have taken control of the reins of the limited over matches.

If Jaydev Unadkat can score quickly and Kohli, Sharma and Dhawan also make meaningful contributions in the allotted 20 overs, it would be difficult for the South Africans to reach their target, provided India bats first. On the other hand, if South Africa bats first, the Indian bowlers will have to dislodge the key scorers quickly to restrict the side.

Indians have not been troubled by the South African bowlers in the limited over version of the game. So, they have been scoring at will. However, it is the bowling that needs to be consistent for the Men in Blue to wrap up the T20 series on a high note.
