IPL 2018 is about to end, but the real fun and battles are the last 4 matches. The best four teams will face each other in the playoffs and will try to move a step closer to the trophy. The first two teams who qualified for the playoffs this season, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings, are set to face each other for the epic clash which will prove that it is the season of the Best vs. Best. They will face each other on 22nd May in the first qualifier. The winner goes to the final. However, not everything is lost for the loser. They will play the 2nd qualifier on 25th May.
Sunrisers Hyderabad has shown its dominance in this season with the power-hitting batsmen and amazing bowling line-up. Captain Kane Williamson is doing a great job along with other batsmen like Shikhar Dhawan, Alex Hales, Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan and most recently Shreevats Goswami. The strong bowling side has many players like Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shakib Al Hasan, Sandeep Sharma, Rashid Khan and Siddharth Kaul.
Chennai Super Kings is undoubtedly one of the most favourite fan teams. The main reason behind this is captain MS Dhoni. They receive the love and affection from most IPL fans. The strong batting line-up includes MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Shane Watson, Faf du Plessis and Ambati Rayudu. The all-rounders like Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo have given a balance to the team with their immense experience. The bowling unit of Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, Harbhajan Singh and Lungi Ngidi have come together lately. The team is strong, and the captain has excellent cricketing brains.
The type of the pitch and the team selection will matter a lot in the qualifier. Teams will want to win the match so that they can make an entry into the final. Overall, it is an advantage for Chennai Super Kings as they are coming off a win in the last league match. SRH will be a bit worried about their performance from the last match.
